Values education has been a bridge of concern that has been strongly attracting attention and wide interest from many sectors. Faced with various issues that are rooted in materialism, many people realize that human development today is primarily hampered by a crisis of values.
The school had played big role in inculcating values among children. It is a fact that they spend most of their time in school rather than at home and can easily say that the school is the testing ground and the nurturing ground for these kids.
Kids therefore can be likened to young seed which need to be cared for. I really appreciate the afternoon show “TrudisLiit” at GMA Channel7. This show has a great influence among young ones. The values that the show had integrated really get into the minds of kids.
Truly, teacher and parents must go hand in hand in uplifting the values among children. Parental guidance among parents at home is required.
Through the effort exerted by the school and the home, uplifting and restoring of the lost values among our children can be felt. It’s not yet too late for us.
