As we observe students in the regular class learning the English as a subject, there are different things that we notice about the way they learn the language. How they start , how they progress and how they continue learning it. English is a skill; you cannot just simple memorize the rule in grammar then later on be good in English, unless you use the language and you hear yourself speaking the language then eventually you can step by step learn it.
This is the problem experienced by the children with disability for they cannot use the language the way the regular students do. If learning English will be accomplished through practice then how can a student with hearing disability learn it. How they can create their sentences in a way where the other people can understand it , how they can give or express their idea where their thought are not even organize. What will help them to learn English and practice it.
FRITZGERALD Theory. This is a pattern in creating a sentence where the thoughts are presented in the easiest way. WHO- tells the subject WHAT –tells the action WHERE- tells the place where the action is done WHEN- tells the time when the action is done. In every discussion where the pattern is posted and discussed the students with disability can develop the skill in grammar with the proper guidance of their teacher. The different parts of speech together with the different verbals are also discussed. Thus, this pattern is really a help for students with disability as well as their teachers in English.
