The social media can be a double-edged sword. It may save you or it may harm you.
Last October 4, 2017, the Committee in Communications headed by Senator Grace Poe together with Senator Tito Sotto and Senator Antonio Trillanes IV conducted an investigation about the proliferation of fake news. They have invited Communications Assistant Secretary Margaux “Mocha” Uson to explain her side about the issue that has cause misinformation about the present administration.
According to experts it is quite impossible or difficult to determine the truth from the lies. It should be the responsibility of the readers to know the reality of each story.
Uson should have in mind that she was appointed by the president and everything that she say or publishes is official. She must make sure that everything that she does should be for the betterment of the government. She was appointed to help see the truth and not distort it.
All government officials should always consider the consequences of their actions. They do not only represent themselves but the institution they were voted or appointed for. The people who put them in their position have the right to find the truth.
Whatever happens the truth will set us free… and that is a fact.
