The arts are not one of the most popular subjects among pupils. Arts primarily concern the artistry of a student. The issue about arts is that not everyone has the innate talent to create something that everyone finds lovely. A learner or even an art teacher may not be able to create the most beautiful piece. But, why is learning art still important?

According to Speak Art Loud (2010) on Woodpress.com, art identifies events and experiences that provide us with a more complete perspective of history. Art reveals the colors of cultural values, beliefs, and identities. Art will always exist, regardless of where or when it is created (John Sadorna 2020). It also documents our own lives and experiences over time. This is why understanding art is so vital.

However, the definition of art varies greatly. Not everyone has the same concept of art; what one sees as beautiful may not be beautiful to others. However, because of this, one can interpret art in his own way. This is what we should educate everyone who is learning the art.

Making a simple card for someone is considered artistic. Everyone should understand that everyone can produce art, whether it is beautiful or not, and that by doing so, you are also creating your own experiences. Creating art allows you to construct your own history and learn about your culture.

We should not take learning art for granted because our own hands are capable of creating the most magnificent things. As a result, learning about art is also beneficial.
