Education is the weapon for life. The ambitions find it determined to struggle in the process, and do not give up in order to succeed. The trimmed wallet does not discourage him; it is the ambition that counts.
One of the Dep-Ed Missions is to attain quality education; curriculum planners keep on finding ways to upgrade the kind of education that we have. They keep on re-structuring our curriculum and the latest is the BEC-RBEC but still the quality education cannot be attained. What is the reason behind this? Some teachers say, shortage of books, lack of modern equipments, big size of classes, and low salaries. Are these really the reasons?
Have you asked yourself as mentors if you are really doing your job? Are you spending your allotted time with your pupils? A teacher should share her love with her pupils, the love that no one can explain. A teacher’s love is made of deep devotion, sacrifice, and pain.
Most of the teachers who are doing these feel satisfaction and joy. Pause, think, and meditate. Recall all the things you have done the whole year, then ask yourself, “Am I worthy of the job that I have?” If not, wake up! Start now- the best way to improve our system to attain quality educations are mentors who are committed, dedicated, and sincere.
Government is spending too much to find ways on how to attain and upgrade the quality of education that we have, but are we doing our best? You will never be sorry for doing your best. Be kind to the children mold them because the future of our country lies in their hands. The hardest work is the work that we have, but love your work. You live because of your work, for work if you love it is no longer work but show enjoyment and fulfillment, you earn and you produce a productive citizen, too.
Those are the things our teacher principals and school administrators must look into so that our nation will be lifted from its place and thus compete with the rest of the world in the years to come.
