after the pandemic ended, a new generation of artists began to emerge. The students are starting to utilize visual arts and digital media art forms to the next level. Owing to the technology advancements, everyone now has the chance to validate their thoughts, to be understood with in their own perspective and ideas and to fill in the empty spaces in their own blank canvas.

Through the academic collaborative performance tasks in MAPEH and integrated with their other subjects, I have observed that the majority of the students carefully and joyfully manipulated their personal smartphones and dslr to capture images, record videos and using software to edit and enhance their school projects even while under pressure. Valuing each member of the group’s artistic abilities and capabilities through keeping eye to details and showing skills as if they have worked in a production company to make superb output.

Each of the student has taken a big a leap to take part into accepting one’s differences and to creating a positive working environment for each artist’s soul to fully showcase their exemplary level of artistry.
In this digital age, producing contemporary arts, mixed media arts and visual arts are essential to stimulate creativity and self-expression. A great way to serve as reflection and inspiration from others ideas, empowering culture through diversity, valuing the traces of the past to provide a glimpse of the bigger picture of the world around us.
