Besides, it can also be a ticket to go abroad and even immigrate to United States, Canada, Australia and New Zealand. However, our country needs high quantity graduates of Education for this is the key ingredient to reach the goal of “Quality Education”. Graduates that will become teachers should have commitments and innovative reforms to jolt the teaching profession. Students now are extremely different compared to pupils twenty to thirty years ago.Teacher commitment is a key factor influencing the teaching-learning process. It indicates that teachers with high levels of commitments work harder, demonstrate stronger affiliation to their schools and show more desire to imparts knowledge or teach students eagerly. They should have passion for teaching. The three natures of commitments are affective, normative and continuance. Affective commitment is the teacher’s positive emotional attachment to the school for the learning of students. This teacher commits to teaching because he/she “wants to”.Normative commitment is the teacher’s perceived obligation to remain or stay because of the feelings of obligation. The teacher stays because he “ought to”. While continuance commitment is the teacher’s perceived of losing job and friendship ties to co-workers. The teacher remains because he “has to”.

Highly committed teachers are willing to do everything for the good of the students. They have the motivation to pursue changes in their practice by initiating innovative strategies that are suited to the behavior of the students of Computer Age.Thus, newly hired teacher and all teachers should not forget that they are more than educators. In our society teachers have become pillars of hope and bastions of strength. There is no profession more widely respected than teaching.
