Its true that teachers play different roles in school ….as parents, as doctors, as counselors, as lawyer, as preachers and even as actors and comedians. He must possess well rounded personality so that learning would be enjoyable. Having a sense of humor will definitely catch pupils’ attention will break boredom inside the classroom. At these crucial and hard times in our country a teacher with sense of humor is a necessity. As an instrument of learning, we must consider this important ingredient to make learning enjoyable and worthwhile. Because to be become an effective teacher, our knowledge and being dedicated to our work is not enough, we need to find ways on how to help our pupils enjoy their hours inside the classroom. If we learn to set the minds of our learners in a funny but effective way, we can develop the teacher-pupil interaction that will lead to better achievement in school. As teachers, our reward is too see that our pupils are “joyful” and at the same time, they’re acquiring knowledge from us.
