Living a life with essence is more meaningful and fruitful most especially if you do good for the sake and benefits of young people. There is nothing more satisfying than to inspire somebody to make himself/ herself be of worth. Take the following suggestions, to wit:
- Always wear a smile. Smile attracts and frown repels. Students love to see the beautiful faces of their teachers yield lovely smiles that are inviting for them to listen. Isn’t it more inspiring if they see you keep on smiling?
- Be a good role model. A teacher is being emulated by his/ her pupils. That is why he/ she should manifest a good example in his appearance, parlance and gestures. Isn’t it more inspiring if you see pleasant people?
- Tell interesting stories. Learners are fond of listening to stories most especially if the teachers are the ones narrating. By the dramatic presentation of the teachers , the learners feel the events in the story. Isn’t it inspiring if they listen to good stories?
- Be more loving. The child is more inspired if he/ she feels the love and care of his/ her teacher . The feeling of love can enter the hearts of the learners to excel academically because love persuades him / her to do best. Isn’t it inspiring if you are being loved?
- Be compassionate. There are times that the student’s life is getting
rough, meaning he may be involved in problems or undesirable
situations. But the teacher should be always there to lend a helping hand to understand and to help. Isn’t it inspiring if someone has a concern on you?
- Be friendly. Teachers are flexible. They can be educators, leaders,
singers, dancers, and most especially can be friends. Being friendly to your students can inspire them because you make them feel they are part of you. Isn’t it inspiring if you have a real friend?
- Lead the learners to God. Make them discover God and His goodness. The best way to inspire them is to teach them that there is God who is the Source of everything we have. Isn’t it very much inspiring if you have God with you?
