Instruction differentiation refers to the need to tailor teaching environments to create appropriately varied learning experiences for diverse students.

It is a common belief by seasoned and veteran educators that it is indeed difficult to teach students in similar fashion because their characteristics and needs are qualitatively different, personal and unique.

It is therefore, a challenge for teachers on how learners and students can be empowered to fulfill their potential by managing their own learning either as members of a group or as an individual.

As mentioned, one of the ways to provide students the necessary learning is through instruction differentiation.

In a differentiated class, the teacher uses a variety of ways for student to explore curriculum content, a variety of sense-making activities, a variety of options through which students can demonstrate what they have learned.

Remember, there is no single approach that can suit all student types. It is the teacher who know well kind of learners she handles and what appropriate ways she will use to differentiate the instruction.
