A RESOLUTION PROVIDING FOR THE PAYMENT OF PER DIEMS TO ALL AUTHORIZE PERSONS RENDERING SERVICE IN CONNECTION HHEEDING THE CALL OF HIS EXCELLENCY, PRESIDENT FIDEL V. RAMOS, FOR ASSISTANCE FOR THE MT. PINATUBO VICTIMS IN CENTRAL LUZON AND LAUNCHING “TULONG MO, BUHAY KO” OPERATION (MT.PINATUBO PROJECT) IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF ORION, BATAAN
WHEREAS, His Excellency, President Fidel V. Ramos, has called on all citizens for local and foreign assistance for the victims in Central Luzon provinces who have been suffering from the devastation brought about by Mt. Pinatubo eruption and cascading lahar;
WHEREAS, the Sangguniang Bayan of Orion, Bataan, considering the magnitude of the effects of this disaster, is unanimous in heeding the call of the President of the Philippines and in response, will initiate a fund0raising drive within the municipality;
