A RESOLUTION ADVOCATING THE CONSENSUS OF THE PEOPLE OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF ORION, BATAAN, IN CONNECTION WITH THE PROPOSED OPERATION OF THE BATAAN NUCLEAR POWER PLANT
WHEREAS, the Sangguniang Bayan of Orion, Bataan, during its regular session held on September 10, 1992, passed Resolution No. 53, current series, providing for the conduct of a survey in twenty-three barangays in Orion to determine the view of the people regarding the impending operation of the Bataan Nuclear Power Plant;
WHEREAS, after gathering the questionnaires distributed in 23 barangays and making an analysis on the answers of the respondents, it was noted that an average of 91% of the resident-respondents have expressed their opposition to the proposed operation of the BNPP;
