Responsibility is something that can be taught to any child at any age. It is important to focus on the aspects of responsibility that can be taught to any child. Teaching children responsibility will make a world full of adults who care more about the world around them and who are willing to take responsibility for their actions.
There are number of ways on how to teach responsibility. First and foremost, show each child respect. Showing the value of respect will be a good start in motivating the child’ attitudes of giving respect to others.
The second most important thing is be a model of being responsible. What the elder shows can be manifested by the youngs. If you show respect they will surely do it nicely and positively.
In addition, have a child take care of something. Whether this is a plant or a small animal, show them how the thing depends on them for survival and tell them that it is their responsibility to help the thing survive and thrive.
