As a teacher I always hear that if a pupil got a low score in any evaluation or assessment test, it’s a teacherfactor. The teacher did not give 100 percent of her effort for her pupils to learn. We accept the fact that we have a major part or responsibility to our pupils to learn. But it is not our sole fault. There are also a lot of factors to consider why they got low scores. One of these is the community where they live in. The environment where they stepped their feet, heard those violent and disgusting words, people who are quarelling everyday and specially the everyday struggle of their life, which is where to get money just to buy something to eat. Instead of going to school, they choose to help their parents just to earn money or they will just go to school without something in their stomach. Do you think with these everyday scenario, will they learn from school? Nomatter how good or effective a teacher is she cant do it alone. We can only achieve our hopes and dreams for these children if we( teachers), parents and community will help each other to fulfill our duties and responsibilities to the fullest.
