As the saying goes, “Values are caught not taught”. It’s always refer to Filipino quote “Sa Mata ng Bata, Lahat ay Tama”. Values represent oneself, the way we think, say and do reflect to our personality. What is the role of values education to Philippine society? What is the significance of values education to every Filipinos? Values played an important role to every human being it is the mirror of our society, we are measured through values inculcated in our personality, this is how the world see us. Filipinos are of great values whether it is personal or cultural values that gave us pride and honor. But what happen to our values education now? What’s happening to our country is exactly the opposite of positive values we have learned from the past. Imagine how senators throw indescent language from each other when they get mad, how president’s speak when he has something to say to his opponent and how teacher’s involve in anomalous situation. We are all models of the society and we should act like one. Let’s all join hands and bring back the values that will uplift Filipino Heritage.
