The Municipal Council for the Protection of Children, led by its Chairman Honorable Antonio L. Raymundo, Jr., held a re-orientation seminar for all Barangay Councils for the Protection of Children (BCPC) at Orion Elementary School last April 14 – 15, 2008. Mrs. Espiridion Calara, OIC-Provincial Director of DILG and Mrs. Roselle Fernandez, Provincial ECCD Officer were the resource speakers. During the program essential medicines and learning materials for the target population of the 12 ECCD barangays were turned-over the municipality. These were subsequently given to the recipient barangays. Mayor Raymundo pledged to give the same to the 11 non-ECCD barangays so that the same services will reach the non-ECCD areas.
