It is the goal of the Department of Education to train and develop every classroom teacher to become an effective classroom manager, this is why they are conducting series of trainings to help them in developing a conducive learning environment. The Department also designed the said trainings so that teachers will learn the principles and techniques in handling individual differences.
To attain this goal teachers are encouraged to set effective rules and policies inside their classrooms not only to develop obedience among the learners but also to impose proper discipline. In doing this, children will be guided by these policies and would be able to perform well in the class. Teachers need also to discuss the disciplinary interventions that
they will enforce among the pupils, a PTA meeting must be conducted so the parents will know the kind of discipline to be imposed among their kids. Above all these, teachers must learn how to build strong relationship with her pupils to ensure the effectiveness of classroom management.
