This must have attracted San Miguel Foods Inc, to locate its Model/Training Broiler Farm Project in General Lim, Orion, Bataan. The project includes the construction of 12 houses with Controlled Climate System (CCS) in 17.34 hectares, where only 8.84 hectares is actually to be developed. It hopes to be the most modern model/training broiler farm project in Asia.
“This is a very welcome development for Orion”, said Mayor Tony Pep Raymundo. “This means more job and business opportunities to our people. Knowing San Miguel Corporation commitment to social responsibility, our town can really look forwards to a fruitful partnership with them” he adds.
The construction phase of the project is on going and estimated to be completed by the end of this year. The operation is expected to start immediately with the 1st harvest to come this February 2007. (MPDO)
