The cornerstone of our society is undoubtedly the family unit.đź’• We, as a community, hold our families in the highest regard, valuing their presence above all else. In 1992, our beloved nation marked a significant milestone when the then-President of the Philippines signed into law the proclamation designating the last week of September as Family Week. President Fidel V. Ramos, in his wisdom, envisioned this week as a testament to the intrinsic importance of family and the profound strength and protection it provides. This year, Family Week in the Philippines is scheduled for the last week of September.
Together with members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and the Local Government Unit of Orion headed by Hon. Antonio L. Raymundo, with the full support of our Vice Mayor Rex RJ Fuster, Konsehal Meldy Santos Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office headed by Mrs. Babylita Evangelista , Child Development Workers, Parents and Children, hold a Motorcade Caravan last September 30, 2023. It was started from the seaport of Brgy. Puting Buhangin up to Brgy Calangusan, going back to Brgy. Balagtas.
A short program was held at the covered court of Brgy Balagtas which included various activities and discussions centered around the theme of Family Week which is “Living Real, Dreaming Big”!
as we came together, we strengthened the importance of family bonds and unity and We are “ BUILDING FOREVER FAMILIES”
