The Department of Education, Division of Bataan is very proud for having a Library Hub Building. It is situated at the back of Dep Ed – Bataan Office, Capitol Compound, Balanga City.

The Library Hub Building was constructed through the initiative of the Provincial Government, spearheaded by Governor Enrique T. Garcia Jr. while the books and other references are founded by Dep Ed Central Office.

The Library Hub is a warehouse of reading materials systematically organized in plastic bins equipped with a variety to learning centers of public elementary and secondary schools; it has also an activity area which can be used for other hub enhancements like: storytelling, read-a-thon, seminars and other activities that the Hub has been legally established for. It is open throughout the day, from Monday to Friday except holidays.

The Library is open to the general public – pupils, students, professionals, out of school youth, senior citizens, officials, teachers, employees of Dep Ed – Division of Bataan, and others who may wish to come to conduct research or spend a wholesome use of leisure time thus recreatory reading.

Last March 25, 2011, 1:00 p.m. at Crown Royal Hotel, the Dep Ed – Bataan Library Hub Orientation was conducted through Mr. Edgar E. Garcia, Library Hub Coordinator and Ms. Rosita P. Serrano, Division Librarian. The event wa sponsored by the Philippines Long Distance Company (PLDT), and was attended by the District Supervisors, Education Supervisors and Secondary School Principals of Dep Ed Bataan.
