DepEd Limay District joined the nationwide launching of Brigada Eskwela 2011 through a parade and a mini opening program held in Limay Elementary School last May 23, 2011. The parade was participated by our district supervisor Mrs. Ma. Fe V. Angeles together with the different principals in Limay District headed by Mrs. Marylyn V. Dizon. Others in the parade were the GPTA officers of every schools in the district, teachers, parents, pupils, barangay captains, gov’t officials, policemen, public and private stakeholders in the community. The parade was chaired by Mrs. Catalina L. Lintag of Limay Elementary School. 

The purpose of the parade was to inform, invite and encourage the parents and people in the community to become volunteers in supporting the activities and projects of the school. Bayanihan Sa Paaralan was achieved during Brigada Eskwela 2011. Our local gov’t officials spearheaded by our municipal mayor, Hon. Lilvir Roque donated bags and school supplies to the pupils within the district.The 5-days Brigada Eskwela 2011 proved to be very fruitful for if brought us back together uniting in our goals to make our school ready for the opening of classes in June.  

School improvement does not end on the last day of Brigada Eskwela Week. To sustain the Brigada Eskwela constant communications should be done to stakeholders to continue fulfilling their roles and share in the improvement of our basic education.
