The Municipality of Orion is one of the fifty (50) municipalities selected to participate in the Canadian International Development Agency funded “E-Governance for Municipal Development” Project that was being implemented in partnership with the Canadian Executive Service Organization (CESO; Mayor’s Development Center, Inc.; and the National Computer Center of the Commission on Information and Communications Technology, The Department of Trade and Industry and the provincial chambers of commerce and industry are likewise strongly supporting in this endeavor)

The E-Governance Project aims to build the technical capacities of municipalities in Luzon, particularly in Regions 1,3 and 4A, in the use of a PhP 3.8M – worth business permit and licensing software, which will be provided free of charge, as a strategy to improve revenue generation, increase municipal staff productivity, promote good governance, strengthen system databases and enhance an investor-friendly business environment.
