THE IMPACT OF ATTITUDE
Attitude, to me, is more important than facts. It is more important than the past, than education, than money, than circumstances, than failure, than successes, than what other people think or say or do. It is more important than appearance or skill. It will make or break a company, a church or a home.
We have a choice everyday regarding the attitude we will embrace for that day. We cannot change our past. We cannot change the inevitable. The only thing we can do is play on the string we have, and that is our attitude.
Today’s living demands careful planning. Your diary or planner may have all the tasks to do for a day, your portfolio may carry a heavy cargo of school works and your child in school needs you for PTA conference. But you only have TODAY.
In a power print presentation authored by Najed H. AI Dossary entitled, “Puppies for Sale”, have revealed a small truth to make life 100%. He devised a formula that seems to make joyful and fruitful. He used the 26 letters of the English alphabet, where each is equivalent to the numbers 1 to 16. Her are some of the things which many of us think would make life full:
K+N+O+W+L+E+D+G+E = 11+14+15+23+12+5+4+7+5=96%
All of these are the usual things we have in mind which we think could replete our insatiable hunger for the meaning of life. But nothing reaches to a hundred percent except the world attitude which letters when put together.
Jesus, the Master had it. Despite walking barefooted on the desert, sleeping on rotten boats, travelling hundreds of miles to reach out the thousands of his students, he did it with a teacher’s attitude.
