Teaching Home Economics in our educational system is a very interesting subject. It could not be denied that our country is in economic crisis so it is advantageous for a child to know the ways and means to contribute to our economic development.
Home economics teaching is however the preparation of an individual on how to meet the needs that everyone should strive for. Through the things learned, at least one will know how to portray his role as a member of the family and community.
Truly, home making experiences are the learning opportunities for successful and skilful homemakers in the future.
