As a teacher, one of the challenges you can face in your profession is dealing with bad students. Most of the time bad students are considered bad because of their disruption in classes, talking too much and bad behaviors. The question is how you are going to deal with students like this in your class. Here are some of the ways that might help you.
If your students misbehave in class, one of the old but very useful things you can do is implementing punishment. However, you need to be very careful in choosing the proper punishment. Letting your students clean your room is the safest way. Surely, you can think of many ways on how you can punish bad students in your class. Just be careful on being too harsh with your students.
The next thing to do is you need to check your method of teaching. You do not need to be very strict to make your student learn. Most of the time, students love to laugh in their class. If they see your class as a break and enjoyment compare to other classes, then you will be loved and bad students will not be in so much problem.
Keep in mind that you need to analyze the situation first before you respond with your student. Understand the bad attitude and make the proper actions. As you respond with the bad behaviors of your students, see to it that you are being consistent and fair.
Students are different from each other so their response to your rules and punishments may vary. One of the best advices you can take is asking for the opinions of your co-teachers on how they deal with the particular student.
