The municipality of Orion through Mayor Antonio L. Raymundo, J., supports outreach programs conducted by both non-governmental organizations and private organizations. Recently Rev. Roberto A. Miranda, resident Pastor of Sam Seung Vision Church based in Gen. Lim, Orion requested Mayor Raymundo Jr. for assistance in terms of health personnel for their medical and dental mission on October 13, 2007 in the said barangay. A medical and dental team composed of 2 doctors, 2 dentists, 2 nurses, 6 midwives, 1 dental aide and 3 barangay health workers was formed and sent to the said mission. An estimated 200 hundred persons mostly belonging to indigent families availed of the health services being offered. All patients served were given medicines, vitamins and counseling.
