To strengthen the bond of teachers, pupils, parents, administrators and local government officers in the district of Orion, a mass Oath Taking was held on September 3, 2009 at 3pm. Hon. Enrique “Tet” Garcia, Provincial Governor of Bataan, Hon. Antonio “Pep” Raymundo, Municipal Mayor of Orion, Hon. Lilibeth Fuster, Orion PENELCO Director, and Councilor Isagani De Leon graced the occasion.
The event started thru an opening program hosted by the GPTA officers of Orion Elementary School, Mr. Angeleito Crisostomo and Mrs. Jocelyn Sison. Doxology was rendered by Camachile Kids Choir. A prelude before the singing of National Anthem was participated by the select OES Boy scout. To know who were present in the said event, Mrs. Annaliza Bongco, Master Teacher of OES led the Roll call. Welcome message were delivered by our School Principal, Mrs. Elvira R. Mina, Mrs. Ma. Fe V. Angeles, District Supervisor, Hon. Isagani De Leon, SB-Chair in Education and our respected Municipal Mayor, Hon. Antonio L. Raymundo.
Thru the different dance number rendered by the GPTA officers of Capunitan and Camachile ES and Orion Elementary School, the crowed were entertained. The message delivered our Guest Speaker, Gov. Tet Garcia truly inspired the audience. After these, the pupil government, student government, OPSTEA and all GPTA of each school bowed and uttered their commitment in the presence of Gov. Garcia, Mayor Antonio L. Raymundo, and Mrs. Ma. Fe V. Angeles, District Supervisor. The performance of the Drum and Lyre Corps. of OES, Calungusan ES and Sto. Domingo ES highlighted the event. Mr. Mario D. Suguitan, the elected president of GPTA and FPTA of Orion shared his plans and accomplishments in the district.
[p.Summing it up, the District Mass Oath taking challenged all the participants to do their best for the improvement of the school as well as the district of Orion.
