SM Mall of Asia is soon to be less than an hour away from Bataan as ferry boat via Orion-SM Mall of Asia and vice versa route will soon to serve passengers starting this April 2010.
Travelling to SM-MOA and the whole Metro Manila will now be more enjoyable as traffic from usual route from Bataan to Manila thru NLEX is gone. Initial route will be sailing twice daily, additional services will be put up defending on turn-out.
At reasonable fare, travelers are sure to enjoy nature as they cruise Manila Bay and enjoy the facilities of the world class Diosdado Macapagal Terminal Cruise at the Port of Orion. A treat to those who enjoy both rural and urban living, with SM-MOA just a stone away from Bataan, the experience will surely be delightful for travelers.
Governor Tet Garcia,Congressman Albert S. Garcia and Mayor Tony Pep Raymundo left no stone unturned to realize this long overdue project. The said officials successfully work for a series of negotiation with Aboitiz Shipping and SM to make this dream happen, luckily they found a partner in the person of Mr. Henry Sy, Jr. CEO of SM Development Corporation and Mr. David L. Rafael of SM Land for paving the way for the use of the SM MOA Pier.
