Ideal teacher is a demure Filipina maiden. She is physically fit, free from restricting physical defects and ailments therefore. She is active and energetic. She must be clean in her appearance, mode of dressing and in her language. She should follows health rules strictly. She must be simple in her dress code and modest in her behavior so that she could command attention and respect by her presence. She must be pleasant, refined in her manners and has self-control. She should be tolerant and open –minded, free from unreasonable beliefs and prejudices. She should observe the highest degree of morality, efficiency, loyalty, honesty and fidelity in the performance of her duties. She is also trustworthy wherein she can be relied upon and can keep secrets especially with regards to confidential matters. She is not a gossiper but instead a friendly one and very sympathetic, just and fair to everyone. She is patient, loving, mentally alert who is free from mental and emotional disorders and very much dedicated to serve others above her personal welfare besides being kind and gentle, God-fearing and punctual.
Above all she must possess the intelligence a teacher should have to produce well-rounded students who by then could be useful, great and law abiding citizens of the country.
