Orion, Bataan (10 October 2008). In line with the Children celebration month a painting workshop for the kids was held at Teacher’s Hall of the Orion Elementary School.
Some 30 selected students, 12 from high school and the 18 from elementary school received basic painting lessons from Ms. Jensen G.Moreno of JMS Art Studio. The pretty and soft spoken painting instructor is a Fine Arts graduate from UST.
Students from JRI,BSF,ONHS,SMAA and OES are just so delighted to receive their first formal painting lesson from Ms.Moreno using oil pastel as the medium. Tthe presence of Vice-Mayor Virgilio Isidro and SB Member Isagani De Leon inspired the student more to work on the theme “The Rights of the Child”.
After few hours of enjoyable lesson, colorful and expressive painting capturing the various rights of the child was showcase to the delight of the expectators. Certificate of participation were distributed to participants. Their works are now on display at the municipal hall.
