Curriculum and instructions must be set as our priorities like what we are always saying “ the center of our educative process is the learner and our main goal is to provide quality education for them”
I believe that our own instruction and curriculum are good enough because the Department of Education staff responsible for doing it is well educated. Instruction goes beyond study and research and are amended always. Implementing it according to strategies and techniques are important to have better result. If the curriculum/objective is too broad, we simplify it. Use varied strategies while teaching. From the saying “Be proud you are a teacher, the future depends Education lies in our hands so while we are in the system do all the best we can”.
Therefore a principal in one school should be actively involved in the curriculum development process. Should act as an instructional resource providing expertise and guidance. In order for the school to achieve the goal which is providing quality education to their learners.
A regular monitoring of the curriculum addresses the students learning needs. Giving the Pre- Assessment test to learners, is one way of know their weaknesses and strengths at the same time.
