The functional training on the Electronic New Government Accounting System (e-NGAS) was conducted at the Office of the Mayor last November 26-30 2007. The resource speakers/trainers for this activity were Ms. Imelda G. Celso & Ms. Narcisa S. dela Rosa from the Government Accountancy & Financial Management Information System(GAFMIS) Sector of the Commission on Audit and Mr. Francis Joseph D.de Lara of COA Regional Office No. III.
The functional course covered two (2) parts:
Accounting System :
covers the standard operations , e-NGAS access,data preparation/system setup and account configuration,transaction encoding and processing, query options and report generation
Budget System :
covers the system setup/data preparation, transaction encoding and processing, query options and report generation
The sessions went smoothly through the active participation of the group and the able assistance of the resource speakers who ensured that every participant was on the right tract during the practice set sessions.
The participants headed by the Municipal Accountant, Delia V. Gomez her staff, (Marissa R.Tumalad, MAAII, Emerita C.Baluyot,Senior Bookkeeper,Myrna SP.Teodoro, Data Controller IV,Menchie R. Sangalang ,Acctg Clerk III, Czarina May N.Alquiroz,Acctg Clerk II, Jennie P. Lopez Clerk I) Marivic Estrada, Clerk II and RizzaTeodoro , barangay bookkeeper were very thankful to our Municipal Mayor Antonio L. Raymundo, Jr for making this training possible , and to the resource speakers/trainers for their job well done.The tentative schedule of the roll out of the system will be in January 2008.
